Hot Springs – Cynthia May Nelson-DeBow, known to her family and friends as Cyndi,  42 years young of Hot Springs passed away Saturday, January  17 at home. Cyndi was born in 1972 in Reno, Nevada to Albert Robert Nelson II and Mary Agness Price-Nelson.  Cyndi grew up in Southern California and attended University High School in Irvine, California.

Cyndi work in the restaurant field most of her life, then after taking care of her mother during her mother’s hospice she was inspired to become a home health care aid. It was something she really enjoyed.

Cyndi married her high school sweetheart, Brad DeBow, December 2000. Cyndi already had two boys and Brad took them in as his own. In June 2007 they were blessed with another boy.

In her free time she enjoyed watching her sons play sports, church activities and browse flea markets and spending time with her family.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother Mary Nelson and Aunt Etta Williams.

Cynthia is survived by Her husband Brad DeBow, her father, Albert Nelson;  her sons Trevor Nelson and wife Amber Nelson, Logan Nelson and Braden DeBow; Sister Michelle Nelson and partner Todd Gentry;  Brother Bob Nelson and wife Sonja; Brother Matt Nelson and wife Andrea; her five nephews: Rob, Chance, Nash, Daniel and Caleb. Cyndi is also survived by her Aunt Lawanda and Uncle Walker, her in-Laws John and Barbara Allen, Brother In-Law Brant DeBow his wife Janet their Children; Braelyn, Chloe, Luke and Colin; plus numerous cousins and friends.

Cyndi's Memorial Service will be Saturday, January 24th at 11 am at First Lutheran Church, Hot Springs AR.
Memorial donations may be made to their church, First Lutheran, Hot Springs or the Ronald McDonald House Charities, as both have helped her family tremendously.
